A movie about the life and ideas of José Rodrigues Mao Jr, historian, professor, unionist, songwriter and singer of the band Garotos Podres —historical reference for the punk rock scene in Brazil. The documentary follows the intersections between the historian and unionist Mao with his punk facet. We see how his history classes are extended in his concerts in which, on stage, he talks about revolutions and antifascist movements. The film also contextualizes the story of Garotos Podres intrinsically with the political history of Brazil.
