In a decaying industrial center on the outskirts of Paris, Mao, a Muslim entrepreneur, owns a company to repair pallets and trucks, and a car park for heavy duty cargo transport. Just as he himself, the employees are Moslem immigrants. So that they will keep up the extenuating pace of labor with no complaint, he decides to open a mosque in the neighborhood to emphasize the relationship between work and religion. However, when Mao nominates an imam prayer leader without consulting the laborers, they threaten to put an end to the exploitation they are the victims of.
