She studied German, film and theatre at the University of Zurich. Her diploma film project, Blue Breaks, was awarded a student prize by the Swiss Federal Department of Culture (FDHA Switzerland). She has been working as a freelance documentary filmmaker since, winning a six-month artists residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and a grant for young artists from the canton of Grisons. In 2004 she made a TV documentary entitled Henry Levy, the Business of Art for the Sternstunde Kunst programme on Swiss Television and 3Sat. There followed Prättigau Youth, a film commissioned for the EU’s Walser Alps project. Lüber Aloft is her first feature-length documentary.
