The Thousand Wonders of The UniverseHumanity lives in the fear of a possible alien invasion. For the first time in history, a message in code coming from another planet, reaches earth.

Some months later, the twelve thousand inhabitants of Sepulveda are placed in quarantine, leaving the site - zone, free for drug traffic - almost deserted. However, when a strange magnetic phenomenon occurs in the region, specialists suspect an alien attack. In this way, an astrophysicist, a specialist in UFOs is sent to the city to lead an investigation on the strange events.

Jean-Michel Roux directs his first feature with As Mil e Uma Maravilhas do Universo. However, he has been working in cinema since his teens. (In 1983, he wrote his first script, Quartier Sauvage, a short film that he produced and directed. Three years later, he directed his second short film, La Voix du Désert. After this, he made several musical videos and a medium-length film Trop Prés de Dieux.
