UNICORN - THE FRUIT GARDEN

Argentina

Unicorn - The Fruit GardenEpisodes with Persian poet Omar Khayyam in his youth, as a link. The first “Episode of Transexuality” shows a human sacrifice in a city inhabited exclusively by women. The second, “Episode of the White Slave”, broaches the courage of a woman and the naivetë of first love. “Episode of the Alchimist” features a man in quest of immortality in a society dominated by the desire for gold. In “Episode of the Caravan”, a man travels with 33 merchants where all the situations repeat themselves three times over. The fifth and last part, “Episode of the Sixth Hell and the Funy”, is a tribute to the Greek authors and shows the purification of the main character following the assassination of his mother.Unicorn - The Fruit Garden, filmed in India, is intended as a film that will show contemporary man the delight of contemplating simple day-to-day items. More than this, it is an introduction to the magic world of “A Thousand and one nights”, of Persian miniatures, free interpretations of love, of wine, and of God.
