films, for the first time she directs a feature
with Honey and Ashes.

Drama that follows
the life of three women in Tunisia in present times.
Divided between tradition and modernity, they pursue
success both in their professional life and in their
amorous relationships.Naima is a doctor; Anima is
academic and Leila, a young student.Even with the
differences in age and social classes, the trajectories
of the three women cross at the obstacles that society
places in their way.Young Leila struggles for her
freedom. Amina married at the age of 30 and now wishes to
leave her husband. Naima, the oldest of these, endeavors
to convey her values to her daughter and represent a kind
of link between characters.
