Mark Pellington obtained
his degrees in cinema from the University of Virginia. He worked for US MTV where he
directed videoclips on the Information Society, De La Soul, U2, Alice
in Chains and, in 1988, he completed the series Buzz.
In 1992, he was awarded the Billboard Music Awards for
directing the videoclip for Jeremy, sung by the Pearl Jam group. In 1993, he
made his first film Father's Daze, 30 minutes long. He next filmed The United
States of Poetry. |
