George Esguerra

Born in New Jersey, USA, he began to make films when he was in college, filming American football games held in school. The first film was A Concrete Sky, a short film of post-Apocalyptic tones that won the Best Student Film in 1984.

Later he made Daze Gone Bye, a surrealistic story on a double identity. In 1989, he produced the first the first script - never filmed: Rising Sun. Frustrated, he resolved to start a producing company to produce his own films. To get the money, he became an advertising agent full time. He worked so much that he obtained the funds to finance Talk to Me his first feature.
