Dame AlgoBenigno is an educated guy but he is out of luck. He likes to read and to write fiction, but has never done too well in life. He is newly released from prison and has a great number of problems to face. He is an orphan and he does not have anywhere to live.

With his street companions - Tribulete, Boni, Marta and Chori - he decides to plan a kidnapping in the hostel where he spends most of his time. Making use of the occasion with the presence of a TV team, he shoots a nun and threatens to kill other persons unless they let him go on the air.

Marisol, the most famous compére from the broadcasting station does a journalistic coverage direct from the site, thinking of the success that this job will bring her. Meanwhile, powerful personalities in the city add to the confusion and complicate matters: all wish to take advantage of the situation.

Héctor Carré

Héctor Carré was born in La Coruña in 1960. He studied architecture before entering cinema school at the University of Madrid. He worked as assistant director in cinema and in publicity. He first directed a feature with Dame Lume, in 1994. Dame Algo is his second feature.
