Cosmosscenes from modern urban life in the view of six young Canadian directors, prize-winners at the Director’s Fortnight, in Cannes/97.The title refers to the character who combines all of the stories: a Greek taxi driver who likes to philosophize. It is he who leads the spectator to the world of characters listening to and offering advice.These are types that are most representative of human nature, presented in short stories. “The Individual” is about a strange man who spreads terror in the city; “Jules and Fanny” shows a couple who meet after five years of separation; “The Technetium” speaks of a young cinema director who is to give an interview on TV; “Aurore and Crepuscule” revolves around the conversation of a girl who had been abandoned by her boyfriend on her birthday, with a much older man; “Boost” is about two friends perambulating through the streets while they wait for
