Born in Banfora, Burkina Faso, in 1954, Idrissa Ouedraogo studied cinema in
Ouagadougou, Kiev and Paris. His short films were prized in a number of festivals. Two of
his feature films were selected for the São Paulo International Film Festival: The
Choice, at the 11ª, and Afrique, Mon Afrique, at the 19ª.

Kini and Adams are old friends bound by a dream of making it to the
city and hitting the big time. They invest their time and meager earnings into repairing
an old car. Under the pressure of Kini’s wife, they finally give up until the time
when a big company, which could bring them a job, a decent life and fulfill their dreams,
is going to be settled in the region.And then the dream seems to turn out as reality, and
unsuspected rivalry breaks out between the two friends and endanger their relationship.
Not even the old friendship is able to survive to opposed interests.
